Bouldering, Ogmore

Ogmore pretty much caters
for many different types
of climbing - Trad., Sport
and Bouldering.

When the Trench if submerged to the right and higher up there is a great stratified bouldering area which can make for a nice easy traverse.

The Trench offers some tough bouldering problems with its smoothly eroded lowwer surfaces and some easier ones where it has been barnacled.

A word of warning: check the tide times as this picture was taken a few hours later when the tide had engulfed trench we were climbing in.

Coed Ely Pics

Coed Ely is a great sun trap and can stay relatively dry even when its raining due to its leaning face. Lots of bolted routes here plus top rope points.

Cwm Dimbath Pics

This site is difficult to locate and a trek to get to. Heavily vegetated in places but with great potential. A very middle -earth feel to this place.

Llantrisant Drugscliff Pics

Llanrisant Drugscliff is hidden behind some trees up on Llantrisant common (directly below the turret on the mountain top). Not a huge cliff by any standard.

Pics taken from right to left if facing the cliff.

Trebannog Pics

These pics have been taken from Right to left as you face the cliff from the road.
